About me

I am a quantitative sociologist and my research interests include ethnic educational inequalities, the socio-economic integration of migrants and their labour market discrimination.

I am a Senior Researcher at the Migration Observatory and the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (University of Oxford) since 2018. I completed my PhD in Sociology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2013 with a dissertation on ethnic educational inequalities in the UK. Before moving to Oxford, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid,  where I investigated the labour market discrimination of ethnic and migrant minorities in Spain.

I love photography, cats, comics and music, not necessarily in that order.
